Kew Rotary Club community chair Margaret Turner is bringing to life the, “A Pride of Workmanship Award”.
This is a plaque to be awarded to a business employee who has given superior service to their business or their customers.
Kew Rotary Club would like to make the local business community aware of this award, at our next breakfast meeting on the 26th October. Local business and community members are welcome to attend.
What is the The Pride of Workmanship Award?
The Pride of Workmanship Award is designed to acknowledge an employee irrespective of age or vocation who, in the eyes of his or her employer, displays outstanding qualities in terms of approach, attitude, dedication and commitment to his or her job.
The Award is intended to cover all aspects of work performance and ethics, inclusive of quality and quantity of output, safety, initiative, sense of responsibility, etc.
Pride of Workmanship is not a competition and there are no winners. It is a recognition of individual achievement and commitment.
Employers should be guided to ensure that the Awardee they sponsor is seen by their peers and fellow workers in their organisation as a worthy recipient of the award.
The Awards will be presented at one of the Rotary Club of Kew’s monthly breakfast meetings. Representatives of the Awardee’s firm/organisation will be invited to that function as paying guests.
The Awardee and partner will be guests of our Club.
