KEW ILLUSTRATED – PANORAMAS OF KEW IN 1891

A new exhibition, drawn from the collection of the Kew Historical Society, opens on Level 1 of the former Police Station at the Kew Court House complex on Friday 4 November. The exhibition features the complete set of twelve panoramas of Kew commissioned in 1891 by Sir Henry de Castres Kellett. The silver albumen photographs by J.F.C Farquhar are the most important series of nineteenth century photographs of Kew.
